ABOUT US

Rooted in nature

Camp Waypoint was founded on a simple, yet powerful vision: to provide a transformative summer experience for all youth. Situated on 219 acres of pristine wilderness near Wagoner, Oklahoma, our camp is a place where young people can disconnect from the digital world and reconnect with nature. With nearly three miles of shoreline on Fort Gibson Lake, bluffs, and diverse landscapes, it's the ideal environment for adventure and self-discovery.

As part of the broader Camp Fire organization, we are proud to continue a long-standing tradition of youth development. We connect young people to the outdoors, to others, and to themselves, guided by the belief that every child has a unique spark to discover.

OUR MISSION & PHILOSOPHY

At Camp Waypoint, we are dedicated to providing a safe, enriching, and transformative summer experience where every young person can thrive. Our mission is to foster personal growth, cultivate leadership skills, inspire a love for the outdoors, and create lasting memories in a welcoming and supportive environment for all.

We believe everyone should have the opportunity to experience camp! Our dedicated staff are thoroughly trained to ensure an inclusive and nurturing atmosphere. We’re committed to helping every child feel valued, discover their unique strengths, and build meaningful connections with others.
